Kenny Rumball
Kenneth Rumball has been addicted to sailboat racing since he first sailed a topper dinghy aged 5 in Sutton dinghy club. Since then Kenneth has devoted much of his life to sailing, water sports and the professional marine industry. While expanding arguably the largest and most diverse sailing school in the British Isles, Kenneth continued to excel at international level in dinghy, keelboat and on a professional basis in offshore sailing. Kenneth’s determination and leadership skills have had him in high demand as a professional skipper and helmsman. Notably, Kenneth won the Royal Ocean Racing Club’s Seamanship Trophy for successful recovery of a man overboard as skipper in very challenging conditions during the 2018 Round Ireland Yacht Race. In 2020, Kenneth embarked on his most challenging campaign to date in the solo and double-handed French Figaro 3 circuit. Kenneth is constantly seeking opportunities to further his sailing skills and sail with the best sailors in the world. Kenneth’s next goal is to compete in the highly competitive Class 40 Circuit with sights set firmly on the Race Around in 2023
